About Katelyn, LMFT 111653

Hi, I'm Katelyn!

I approach therapy as a place where you can be seen and heard in all phases of your life. I specialize in supporting women experiencing anxiety and stress often as a result of trauma, relational wounds, and overwhelming circumstances in life.

I work collaboratively with you to identify and plan your goals that will help you progress toward living a life that reflects your values. I focus on giving my clients tools to utilize each week so that they can work towards their goals. These tools you use to regulate yourself and cope better, leading you toward peace, strength, and confidence.

I’m an introvert parenting two small boys who have never-ending energy and my husband; and I wish we could borrow just an ounce of it to sustain us through the day. That’s why you’ll find me doing anything outside or moving my body as a way to ground and restore myself. I need it daily to keep my sanity. I am passionate about all things wellness (but especially horses, hiking, and fighting for justice) and finding ways to thrive: mind, body, and soul.

Why I love therapy

At a young age, I read a novel about the powerful work that therapy did to restore a deeply wounded woman’s life. And this changed the course of my life. I was inspired by the healing work therapy provided for those recovering from trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. I decided to pursue psychology to be a therapist so that I could walk alongside women who have experienced difficulties in their lives that prevent them from flourishing. Both personally and professionally, I've witnessed how therapy can transform people's journeys and move them toward healthy and full lives. I'm truly passionate about this work, and I am honored to support every person I spend time with.
